The Conversation on Race is a call for a national dialogue on the uncomfortable topics that must be confronted in order for us to achieve racial healing in America. The need for this conversation was spurred by recent racially-charged events that remind us how the festering disease of racism continues to plague our society. We believe that these hurdles can only be cleared with honest dialogue and a commitment to connecting to the humanity of those who are different from us. While we invite you to be brutally honest when sharing your feelings, we also expect that you will be as willing to listen as you are to speak. The goal is to achieve understanding and to have the courageous conversations necessary for America to move forward. It's time to have The Conversation on Race that America has been waiting for, and this should not be led by the politicians. It should be led by the American people, so we hope you will join our movement.
